Instructions for use :

Melt the aluminium under the cover of a suitable flux and bring the metal temperature to 730–750°C for aluminium and its alloys. For hypereutectic Al-Si alloys, maintain the temperature according to the required casting size and application. As the metal temperature begins to fall, plunge the recommended quantity of Grain Refiner to the bottom of the melt using a perforated, preheated bell plunger coated with a suitable refractory coating to prevent iron contamination.
