Product Overview

Zinc Refiner Tablets are specialized metallurgical treatment products used in zinc and zinc-alloy melting operations. They help refine the molten metal by assisting in the removal of unwanted impurities and improving the overall condition of the melt before casting.

Purpose

During zinc melting, impurities, oxides and other unwanted materials can affect the quality and consistency of the molten metal. Zinc Refiner Tablets are used to support melt refinement and impurity control.

Instructions for use :

  • Bring the zinc melt to the required treatment temperature.
  • Add the Zinc Refiner Tablet to the molten metal.
  • Allow the tablet to dissolve and react completely.
  • Give the treatment sufficient time to act throughout the melt.
  • Allow impurities and reaction products to separate.
  • Remove the resulting dross from the surface.
  • Check the melt condition before casting.
  • Proceed with final skimming and pouring.
