ALBROL is a specialized flux developed for melting and processing copper and copper-based alloys, particularly alloys containing aluminium. It helps control oxidation, reduce unwanted inclusions, and maintain a cleaner molten-metal condition.

Instructions for use :

  • Add ALBROL to the molten metal during the appropriate stage of melting.
  • Distribute the flux evenly across the surface of the melt.
  • Allow sufficient time for the flux to react with oxides and impurities.
  • Keep the treated melt under the recommended operating conditions.
  • Remove the resulting dross/slag carefully from the metal surface.
  • Deoxidize the melt if required by the alloy and melting process.
  • Skim and pour the clean molten metal.
