SIL 606 is a long-chain alkyl aryl polysiloxane designed as a high-performance die casting lubricant. Compared with conventional polydimethylsiloxane-based lubricants, it offers enhanced performance for die casting applications involving soft metals such as aluminium, zinc and magnesium.

It provides effective lubrication between the molten metal and die surface, helping produce castings with a bright and clean surface finish. It also helps prevent carbonized deposits from building up on the mould surface during repeated casting operations.

Usage
Emulsify or dilute ECO – SIL 606 before use. Nonionic surfactants and aliphatichydrocarbons are available.
